Name rhymes
For a couple of minutes make a list of words that rhyme with your first name. (If you have a name with few rhymes you can use a middle name, someone else's name, a pet's name.)
Now use 10 of those words in a story, paragraph or sentence or poem.
There aren’t many words that rhyme with Joyce but that added to the challenge. I used Rhymezone to help. (Though Rhymezone didn’t come up with Rolls Royce! so it has it’s limitations):
=oOo=On the creaky rust bucket with the proud name of “Rolls Royce”, the cook stood before the crew, dripping spoon held as a microphone. “Tonight’s dinner choice is ‘Sailor’s choice’ which is, as you know, a small fish such as the pinfish or pigfish. Yes, as it is every night, dinner is a Hobson’s choice: that is, take it or leave it.
“And rejoice, for tonight’s entertainment is the captain singing selections from Nicholas Maw’s opera ‘Sophie’s Choice’ in his baritone voice. That is *not* a Hobson’s choice since there is no place on the ship you can go that you can’t hear it.”
